Honorary Distinctions for Foreign Trade Counsellors
Mr. Joseph Spartz, Luxembourg’s Foreign Trade Counsellor in Indonesia, and Mr. Pierre Metz, Foreign Trade Counsellor in Thailand, were recently appointed Officers of the Order of the Oak Crown by HRH the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Both were appointed as foreign trade counsellors in 1990 and have thus fulfilled their charges for over 20 years. Ambassador Marc Thill presented them the insignia of the honorary distinction during a ceremony that took place in Bangkok on 1 August 2013. Since 2012, Mr. Pierre Metz has also been appointed as Luxembourg’s Honorary Consul in Bangkok.
