  • La section consulaire fermée / Consular section closed Communiqués 07-11/08/2017

    La section consulaire sera fermée du 7 au 11 août pour travaux de rénovation. Pendant cette période, les activités concernant les services consulaires seront suspendues. Ainsi, il ne sera pas possible de traiter les demandes de visas et de passeports. En revanche, l'ambassade restera ouverte.

    The consular section will be closed from 7 to 11 August due to renovation works. During this time, operations for consular services will be suspended. As a consequence, it will not be possible to proceed with visas and passports applications. However, the Embassy will remain open.

  • 60th Anniversary of the Treaties of Rome Communiqués 25/03/2017

    60 years ago Prime Minister Joseph Bech and Foreign Minister Lambert Schaus signed the Treaties of Rome making Luxembourg one of the founding countries of the European Economic Community and Euratom.

    The Treaties of Rome created the European Common Market and its underlying principles of the freedom of movement of goods, persons, services and capital.

    Luxembourg is one of the capitals of Europe and a proud host of the European Institutions created by the Treaty of Rome.
