ALFI Training Seminar in Bangkok
The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), following an invitation of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand, organizes a training seminar on the subject of “UCITS & AIFMD: The Cross Border Investment Opportunities”, in Bangkok, on the 2nd of December, 2013. Renowned experts drawn from the financial center of Luxembourg will brief the audience on the Luxembourg fund industry’s solutions in the field of the Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities (UCITS) Directive and the new Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) implementation and share their views on global fund distribution in a regulated environment and on cross-border asset servicing.
The training seminar will be held at the SEC and is by invitation of the SEC only. The Ambassador of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr Marc Thill, will give a welcoming address which will be followed by the presentations of the Director General of ALFI, Mr Camille Thommes, as well as ALFI Board members, Jacques Elvinger, Partner at Elvinger, Hoss & Prüssen, and Georges Bock, Managing Partner at KPMG Luxembourg.
