European Film Festivals in Indonesia (2-11 May 2014), Singapore (15- 25 May 2014), Vietnam (15-31 May 2014) and Thailand (23 May-23 June 2014)
The Embassy of Luxembourg has the pleasure to inform that Luxembourg will be represented at European Union Film Festivals 2014 in Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam.
The European Film Festival in Indonesia "Europe on Screen" (EOS) 2014 will be screening 71 films from 26 European countries. The festival will take place from 2 to 11 May 2014 in nine cities across Indonesia: Banda Aceh, Bandung, Denpasar, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Padang, Surabaya and Yogyakarta. All films will be screened for free.
Luxembourg will be represented by “The Road Uphill” ( http://europeonscreen.org/films/the-road-uphill/ ) and the schedule for the screenings is the following:

The European Film Festival in Singapore “24th European Union Film Festival (EUFF)” which will run from 15 to 25 May 2014.
All films will be screened at Shaw Lido. Seat bookings can be made online via the Shaw website here. More information on all the films can be found at www.euff.sg .
Luxembourg will be represented by “Symmetry of the Butterfly” and the screening is scheduled for May 18th, 2014 at 7.00 p.m. at the Shaw Lido, 350, Orchard Road, 5th/6th Floor, Shaw House, Singapore 238868.

| In Vietnam, Luxembourg participates in the European Film Festival in the three Vietnamese cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Min and Da Nang from 16 to 31 May. Luxembourg will be represented by “Doudege Wénkel”. The mysterious and charismatic Inspector Hastert takes on one final case before he retires: the death of a fellow cop. He is helped by Oliver Faber, who is also the brother of the dead cop. | The European Film Festival in Thailand "2014 European Union Film Festival" will take place from 23 May to 29 June 2014 in three cities across Thailand: Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen. This year, the festival showcases 20 quality films from 14 EU countries. Admission to all screenings is free of charge. All films are screened in their original languages with English or Thai and English subtitles.
