Thai Law students visit the Embassy in Bangkok
On April 30 the Embassy hosted a group of law students from Thailand’s most prominent universities led by renowned lawyer Dr Sutharm Valaisathien. Students engaged with the Embassy’s diplomats on Luxembourg’s history, its role in the European construction, its economic transformation during the last centuries from an agrarian to an industrial and eventually a service economy, its bilateral relations with Thailand. Through movies and presentations students discovered a country little known to most of them. To round up an active session Ambassador Marc Thill treated Dr Sutharm and his students to a surprise wine tasting session of Luxembourg white wine.
