The Luxembourg Embassy – Winner of “Christmas Tree Charity Award 2013”
Central Department Store recently announced the result of the vote for the Christmas Tree Charity Award 2013, which took place between November 22 to December 13, 2013 on the 1st floor, ZEN Department store at Central World Plaza in Bangkok.
With a score of more than 1,900 votes, the Luxembourg Embassy’s tree got the first prize and the charity organization it had chosen as a potential beneficiary, the Camillian Home Foundation for Children Living with Disabilities, got the donation prize. The second prize went to the Embassy of Hungary and the third prize to the Embassy of the Philippines.
On February 3, Ms. Piyawan Leelasompop, Vice President Marketing, and the representatives from Central Department Store, together with the Embassy team, composed of Ms. Malou Thill, Phitsamai Chanrod and Corinne Feypel, handed over the THB 100,000 cheque to Ms. Yvonne Liang, Volunteer, and Mr. Ratapong Promraj, representing the children of the Camillian Home Foundation for Children Living with Disabilities.
