The Luxembourg Embassy participates in Central World’s “Christmas Tree Charity”

Together with representatives from the Embassies of Colombia, the Czech Repuplic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Mexico, the Philippines, Portugal, the United States of America and the British Women's Group, the Luxembourg Embassy is participating in the 2013 Central World’s Christmas Tree Charity, which runs from November 22 to December 13, 2013.  

On November 22, a team of the Embassy, composed of Ms. Malou Thill, Phitsamai Chanrod and Corinne Feypel, decorated a Christmas tree with ornaments provided by Central World. Together with the trees of the other competing teams, it will be exhibited on the 1st floor, ZEN Department store at Central World Plaza in Bangkok. Customers and visitors will be able to vote for the tree of their choice, both in-store and online. 

The tree that receives the highest number of votes will be granted 100,000 Baht to donate to a charity of the decorating - team’s choice; the tree and team ranked second and third will get 50,000 and 20,000 Baht. The Luxembourg Embassy team has chosen the organization CAMILLIAN HOME for Children Living with Disabilities as the potential beneficiary of its prize. 

The voting period ends on 13 December 2013. The winner will be announced on 16 December 2013.
