The Luxembourg Embassy welcomed a group of twelve Thai law students
On the 17th of June 2014, the Embassy welcomed a group of twelve law students from various universities in Thailand. The study visit was initiated by Dr Sutharm Valaisatien, Senior Partner and Director of International Legal Counsellors Thailand Ltd, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and Chairman of the Belgian- Luxembourg/Thai Chamber of Commerce (Beluthai). The Embassy staff gave a brief presentation of its work in Thailand and in the six other countries it covers, and an introduction to Luxembourg as a country and member state of the European Union. A session of questions and answers followed the presentations further raising the interest of the young students.
The Embassy wishes them good luck for the continuation of their studies and hopes they will, some time, get a chance to visit Luxembourg.
