Below are the highlights of legalization of documents.

In order to be valid in Luxembourg, acts and documents issued by the Thai authorities must be legalized by the Embassy in Bangkok.

First, Thai original documents must be legalized by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs (please see address at the bottom of the page). Then the legalized Thai documents must be translated into French, German or English by a sworn translator. Finally, all the documents (the legalized Thai originals and the non-legalized translations) must be legalized by the Embassy in Bangkok.

In order to be valid in Thailand, Luxembourgian documents must be legalized by the Passports, visas and legalizations Office (Bureau des passeports, visas et légalisations) in Luxembourg (please see address at the bottom of the page), then legalized by the Thai embassy in Brussels. The Embassy in Bangkok has no authority to legalize Luxembourgian documents for the local authorities.
