European Film Festival 2015 in Thailand

This year’s European film festival in Thailand "2015 European Union Film Festival" will take place from 10 July to 9 August in three cities across Thailand: Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen.

The festival showcases 18 quality films from 14 EU countries. All films are screened in their original languages with Thai and English subtitles.

Luxembourg will be represented by two films: “Mr Hublot", which received the Oscar for the Best Animated Short Film in 2014 and "Dead Man Talking”, a powerful plea for the abolition of the death penalty. The schedule for the screenings is the following:

12 July at 14.30 p.m. at the SF World Cinema, Central World Bangkok;

26 July at 14.00 p.m. at the SFX Cinema, Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center Chiang Mai;

8 August at 13.00 p.m. at the SF Cinema City, Central Plaza Khon Kaen.

Tickets will be available online on the SF website ( www.sfcinemacity.com ) and through walk-in at SF box office from 29 June 2015 onwards for the festival in Bangkok (120THB/seat) and from 13 July onwards for the festival in Chiang Mai (80THB/seat). For Khon Kaen, free tickets will be available from 30 minutes before screening at the Festival booth in front of the cinema (first come first serve, maximum two tickets per person per screening).
