First luxo-Singapore Research Symposium, Singapore
The Luxembourg National Research Fund (Fond National de la Recherche du Luxembourg or FNR) organized the first symposium "Research" in Singapore in collaboration with the National University of Singapore from 16 to 17 June, 2015. The symposium was an opportunity to present research in Luxembourg . Bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the symposium allowed Luxembourg researchers to establish valuable contacts with their Singaporean counterparts.
The Luxembourg delegation, numbering about twenty researchers, was led by Dr. Marc Schiltz, Secretary-General of the FNR and Mr. Gaston Schmit, First Government Counsellor, Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
On this occasion , the FNR has dedicated one million euros to encourage joint research projects between Singapore and Luxembourg researchers.
