Luxembourg and Laos joining forces to raise awareness on the importance of combatting HIV/AIDS
On invitation by Luxembourg, Dr. Bounkong Sihavong, Vice-Minister of Health of Lao PDR will join Mr. Michel Sidibé, Executive Director of UNAIDS and Mr. Daouda Diouf, Director of ENDA Santé in a panel discussion organised during the European Development Days taking place in Brussels from 3rd to 4th of June 2015. Under the moderation of Luxembourg Member of Parliament Mr. Marc Angel, the participants will discuss how the ambitious target to effectively treat at least 90% of the people living with HIV by 2020 can help to end the AIDS epidemic. To underline the commitment of Luxembourg as a strong supporter of the UNAIDS initiative 90-90-90, the Minister for Development Cooperation of Luxembourg, Mr. Romain Schneider will have the honour to introduce the discussions.
