Luxembourg's support to the Maternal and Child Health Programme, Laos
A consignment of 67mt of Ready-to-Use Supplementary Food procured in the framework of Luxembourg's support to the Maternal and Child Health Programme arrived in Laos on 8 July. This arrival will allow the World Food Programme to provide assistance to 52,000 children under 2 years of age.
As many areas continue to suffer from high levels of malnutrition, Luxembourg remains one of WFP's most important donors in Laos and continued support responds to the needs of the most vulnerable populations in the country.
