The Embassy of Luxembourg is proud to help The Camillian Home Foundation of Thailand
The Embassy of Luxembourg is proud to help The Camillian Home Foundation of Thailand in its important task of providing care and treatment to children who are living with disabilities, some of whom have been orphaned or abandoned and some of whom are also living with HIV/AIDS.
In 2013, The Camillian Home benefitted from a donation of THB 100,000 which Luxembourg won as a first prize in the annual Christmas Tree Charity Award. In 2014, Luxembourg only managed to obtain second place in the Christmas Tree Charity Award but the prize of THB 100,000 again went to The Camillian Home. With the help of your votes, the Embassy aims to improve its performance this Christmas in order to secure another THB 100,000 for The Camillian Home.
The Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok seeks to help the local community in a very practical way with the modest means that are at its disposal. As part of this approach, the Embassy has established a privileged relationship with The Camillian Home since 2009.
Situated in Lat Krabang in the outskirts of Bangkok, The Camillian Home is a unique facility designed to allow each child to receive specialized care and treatment in an environment that encourages and develops the capability of each child, regardless of the severity of their condition.
This organization survives on the generous support and donations from individuals and corporations.
