The Luxembourg “Ombudsman” participated in an international conference in Bangkok
From April 3 to 6, 2013, Ms Lydie ERR, the Mediator of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, participated in an international seminar and a training workshop which was held in Bangkok. The events are organized in order to mark the 13th anniversary of the establishment of the Office of the Ombudsman of Thailand, in cooperation with the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) and the Asian Ombudsman Association (AOA).
The institution of the Luxembourg Mediator has been created by the law of 22 August 2003, which is also defining its mission. The Mediator is the representative of the citizens and is advising and mediating between citizens and the authorities. For more details see www.ombudsman.lu .
