Member states which represent Luxembourg for visas & consular services

The embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok, Thailand, is represented by different Member states for visas and consular services in Cambodia (where the Embassy in Bangkok is not accredited to the country), Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam.

Visa type D

For stays in Luxembourg for more than 90 days (or less than 90 days and carrying out a paid activity).

Only the Belgian embassy or consulate is competent for taking part in the procedures relating to Visa type D applications where Luxembourg is not present locally. Belgian Diplomatic missions are present to the following countries where the Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok is accredited to them:

There is no Belgian embassy or consulate in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos and Myanmar.

Schengen Visa (visa type C)

For stays not exceeding 90 days over any 180-day period.

Applications for Schengen visas are handled by the official representative of Luxembourg in the following countries:

The Luxembourg embassy in Bangkok may issue Schengen visas for third-country nationals who reside in the countries listed above if they intend to visit Luxembourg as a main destination. However, applicants remain subject to prior agreement by the Embassy in Bangkok, and they must to present themselves at the consular section counter of the Embassy in Bangkok whether their fingerprints need to be collected.
