Scholarships for exchange students at the University of Luxembourg – Academic Year 2021-22

In partnership with the University of Luxembourg, we are pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for students from South-East Asia that would like to realize an exchange of one or two semesters at the University of Luxembourg.

The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character. It is a modern institution with a personal atmosphere, situated in a country at the heart of Europe and close to the European institutions, innovative companies and the Luxembourg financial centre. Founded in 2003 as Luxembourg's first and only public university, it already has a reputation as one of the best young universities in the world.

The scholarship is sponsored by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and consists in a monthly allowance of 500€ (for a duration of 5 or 10 months per academic year) as well as free accommodation in a student residence hall for the duration of the exchange.

The deadline for application is the 15th of April 2021.

Available study programs

The scholarship is available for candidates to any Bachelor or Master program at the University of Luxembourg open to exchange students.

Please note that the enrolment fees (400 euros per semester during the first year of studies, 200 euros per semester during semesters 3 to 6) are not waived for scholarship holders.

Application procedure

The home university of an interested candidate should submit a nomination on-line: by April 15, 2021 at the latest.
