Creatives for Climate Action - Thailand

The Embassy of Luxembourg contributed to the organization of the Creatives for Climate Action – Thailand (CCAT), held on June 26 and June 27, at the Thailand Creative & Design Center in Bangkok. Organized by the EUNIC Cluster Bangkok, in partnership with the Creative Economy Agency, the conference connected European and Thai creative sector leaders to foster sustainability in Thailand’s cultural sectors.

Key discussions included sustainable event practices and policy implications for the creative industries, with significant contributions from Dr. Céline Schall of the University of Luxembourg. The event concluded with a collaborative session to develop a toolkit for greening cultural productions, with a focus on innovative solutions for sustainability.

The CCAT conference created a first platform for advancing sustainable practices in the arts in Thailand, with the Embassy of Luxembourg eager to support future initiatives promoting global cultural sustainability.
