Visit to Guardian Rayong factory
On 18 September, the Embassy of Luxembourg was invited to visit Guardian Industries Rayong plant with Mr. Jean Ries, Director Government and Public Affairs for Europe and Asia Pacific.
The plant in Rayong is one of two Guardian float glass plants in the Kingdom employing 600 workers in Thailand. Built in 1996, it is one of the few facilities that can produce high quality green glass for architectural purposes, energy efficient glass and the automotive industry.
Our colleagues learned how Guardian uses state of the art technology in their production. They were impressed with the high commitment to environmental, health and safety standards.
