Visa exemption

From 15 September 2026, Luxembourg citizens travelling to Thailand for tourism under the visa exemption scheme will be allowed to stay for up to 30 days, instead of 60 days.

If you wish to stay longer, you must get the appropriate visa before you travel or, if eligible, apply for an extension of up to 30 additional days through the Thai Immigration authorities in Thailand.

If you entered Thailand before 15 September 2026, you will generally be allowed to stay for the period granted upon arrival.
